Red Pepper Catering Consultant has been established since 2003. We are able to supply freelance Chefs to restaurants and hotels in the Milton Keynes area, covering for staff sickness, temporary positions or maternity leave. It was my mother who inspired me to cook, even from an early age I knew the only career I wanted was to be a chef. Even as a young child I appreciated all the different flavours and the wonderful smells from the home grown vegetables/herbs she would use. I was bought up on a farm so learnt from a very early age where our food came from and how important it is to use fresh ingredients.

During the early stages of my career I worked in several restaurants and was able to gain valuable experience in the workings of a professional kitchen. I then decided to broaden my horizons and joined John Lewis plc. I stayed with them for 15 years working my way up to Head Chef / Section Manager.

With a real desire for a more challenging role, one where I could use my passion for creating tasty and exciting food, I decided to return to the restaurants.

I have built up an excellent reputation in Milton Keynes with my passion for food and using fresh seasonal ingredients always at the fore front of any dish I am cooking. I am constantly striving to create new and exciting dishes. These I try out on my friends whose comments I take very seriously. One day I want to achieve my ultimate goal and own a restaurant myself and win that coveted Michilin Star.

We offer a personal service so if you are interested in using one of our Chefs we will happily arrange an appointment to come and see you and discuss your requirements. We are then happy to come back for a 'trial day' with no obligation for you to use our services. This trial gives us the chance to see how your kitchen works and familiarise ourselves with your menu and of course, where everything is! This ensures that when we return to work for you at a later date, you are able to maintain your level of consistency on the menu and in the kitchen.
