About Willen Hospice

Willen Hospice provides specialist care for adults from Milton Keynes and surrounding areas who have cancer or other life limiting illness.

We are a registered charity and services are provided at no cost to patients or their families.

Overview

Willen Hospice is a registered charity that provides specialist care for people whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment (also known as specialist palliative care).

We work in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas and are based at a quiet lakeside area close to the City Centre. We provide care for people from the age of 18 years upwards and care focuses on four key areas -

▪ Specialist sympton control

▪ Emotional support

▪ Spiritual support

▪ Care for the carers

Our services are provided 24 hours a day without any cost to the patient or their families. Our support extends beyond the Hospice itself where we care for over 600 patients each year.

Our Day Hospice, Social Care, Community Nursing and Specialist Support teams, Befrienders, Bereavement Support and Carers Group enable us to reach many other patients and families, friends and carers.
