SNAP up a designer dress for charity - Saturday 13th September

SNAP up a designer dress for charity at this year’s SNAP up a Frock – glamour, gowns and a great day out at The Swan at Salford, Saturday 13th September

29th August 2008: The stunning garden of The Swan at Salford is the setting once again this year, for SNAP up a Frock, an annual extravaganza of fabulous designer dress shopping, champagne sipping and lunching all for charity, taking place on Saturday 13th September.

This annual fundraiser in aid of the Milton Keynes based charity SNAP, which helps young adults with learning difficulties, gets into full swing from 10.30am onwards. There’ll be a sparkling array of designer outfits and accessories to browse through and try on – including some specially donated by Nicole Farhi - advice from experts on the day on how to get the look you’re after, all followed by a champagne reception and a delicious lunch. And with proceeds going to SNAP, it’s a great opportunity to contribute to a good cause while you have a great day out.

“This year’s SNAP up a Frock event promises to be even bigger and more glamorous than before, with hundreds of dazzling designer bargains just waiting to be snapped up,” said Sally Fennemore, Fundraising Co-ordinator for SNAP. “There’ll be some fantastic designer labels on the day, with styles to suit everyone, as well as the chance to have a pampering makeover. Why not treat yourself to a stunning new outfit and bag a great day out into the bargain?”

Swan owner Andrew Coath added: “SNAP up a Frock is always a fabulous day out. Last year we raised more than £8000 and this time we’re hoping we’ll be able to raise even more money for a great cause. Please come along and support us on the day so we can make it an even bigger success for SNAP.”
