The Crown, Great Horwood has been under new management since March 2007 and has quickly established a reputation for fine dining in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A Free House under the care of Sara Murphy (Head Chef in many leading establishments with over 20 years of experience) and Val Hawtree, The Crown is a small, family run business.

The Crown are proud of the fact that all their food is cooked from local produce and all dishes are prepared to order so customers are politely asked to allow 25 minutes for their main course if not ordering a starter. From a lunchtime menu to a Sunday roast, The Crown are able to cater for everyone.

In addition to the in-house facilities at The Crown, Contemporary Cuisine is an Independent Catering and Event Organisation with the expertise and enthusiasm to organise the most intimate dinner party to a corporate event.
