The Heart of Golf
in the Heart of England - Membership Available |
|
Our undulating golf course
nestles in a mature and scenic woodland setting, near the
attractive hamlet of Millbrook, in one of the most beautiful
parts of Bedfordshire. The layout presents challenges for all
golfers, with every hole providing a different test of length,
line, touch and feel.
The Millbrook became a
member-owned club in 2002 and since then an impressive list of
course and clubhouse enhancements have taken place.
Members, visitors, societies, corporate bodies and business
partners, are made especially welcome at The Millbrook and enjoy
a unique combination of good value and warm hospitality. |

|
The Course |
|
It’s a real
golfer’s course – a place for the experienced golfer to improve
and for the new golfer to learn the true nature of the game. The
topography and well-drained soil essentially provide a heathland
course, with touches of ‘inland links’ as it unfolds through its
glorious 18 holes. |
|
A course that puts 20 yards on
your drive |
|
Yes it's true. The
Millbrook provides a continuous test off the championship tee
where length and accuracy pay a huge premium. After just a few
months of regular play our members all find their driving
improves enormously. The effect is remarkable. |
|
A course where your handicap
tears other courses apart |
|
Golf handicaps are
based primarily on overall length of the course rather than the
difficulty. Those who play at The Millbrook will find they can
easily dominate the field when playing elsewhere. |
|
A course that can never bore |
|
Ever felt a little
jaded as you go backwards and forwards on a new course which
seems like an endless field? The Millbrook is a course stamped
with character - a course you will never forget. |
|
A course where the par of 73 is
now easier to negotiate for vistors off the yellow tees |
|
Off our weekday
tees of the day, you are playing a course that has now been
shortened and the two steep hills have been made easier to walk
up. New pathways have now been added around the 10th and 11th
holes and buggy cars are now available to hire for just £15.
|
|
A course that keeps you young |
|
The charm and
challenge of The Millbrook combine with plenty of walking to
keep you fit in mind and body. We have many retired members who
relish every game at The Millbrook. |
|
A course for golfers who love
the traditional game |
|
Forget about target
golf and artificial courses laid out by computers. The
Millbrook fits snugly into the countryside and has more than a
touch of the seaside links character. |
|
Now enjoy your game
on Bedfordshire's most picturesque and challenging golf course! |
